Nick O’Coin, BAccS CPA CGA – Partner

Nick O’Coin is Seymour Gardner & Associates newest partner and joins from the South Okanagan, his home for the last 12 years. Originally from North Delta, he is looking forward to re-establishing himself and his relationships in the Lower Mainland.

Nick is a Chartered Professional Accountant having completed the Certified General Accountant’s program in 2009 and qualifying in 2010. He also holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Calgary with a major in Accounting and a Diploma in Business Administration.

Nick has many years of industry experience in the public and private sectors. His early career began in public practice, where he was able to gain experience and work first hand with a variety of clients on notice to reader, review and audit engagements and assist in tax planning and compliance for owner-managed corporations, sole-proprietorships and individuals.

Recent leadership roles in the banking, healthcare and recreation industries give Nick a broad view of the full accounting cycle, as well as strong, relevant experience in areas of general business management and the unique challenges that growing businesses might face. Nick brings an in-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis, sophisticated budget planning and short, mid and long-term financial forecasting.

As a partner with Seymour Gardner & Associates, Nick will be a true and trusted business partner assisting with all areas of financial accounting, tax planning and compliance, management consulting, and business planning for his personal and corporate clients.

Nick is currently:

• Board Member for the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce.
• Board Member and Treasurer for the Fairview Mountain Golf Club (Oliver, BC)
